During the 1992–93 English football season, Arsenal F.C. competed in the inaugural season of the FA Premier League.
Season summary
Despite enduring a disappointing league season, finishing 10th in the first ever Premiership, behind unfancied sides like Norwich City and Blackburn Rovers, Arsenal managed to complete a double of the FA Cup and League Cup, defeating Sheffield Wednesday in both finals. The end of the season saw the departure of long-serving Irish defender David O'Leary, who, to date, holds the record for the most appearances for Arsenal.
