Jaman played for the St. Paul Blackhawks as an 18-year-old, featuring in a MYSA state cup final against the Shattuck Sabers, eventually losing 2-1. Brian Quarstad of Insidemnsoccer.com, after watching Hamad score 2 goals in a 2-1 semi-final victory, said,
"The Blackhawks have a very skilled forward named Hamad Jaman who scored both of his teams goals. Jaman, who used to play for Arsenal [of Plymouth Soccer Association], seems to find the seams to get between defensive players, has deceptive speed and a quick release on a rocket of a shot that has a lot of movement."
Jaman played in the fall of 2010 for the Northern Iowa Trojans , and on 24 August 2010, he scored 2 goals in a 2-2 pre-season draw with Upper Iowa Peacocks.. Hamad tallied 3 goals and 8 assists in 6 appearances for a total of 14 points - the 3rd highest point total on the team.
Jaman played his first match for the Twinstars in the 2011 season, assisting the first goal before doubling the lead in a 2-0 win over Aris FC of Wisconsin. On 12 June, 2011, Jaman scored the first goal in a 5-2 win, once again over Aris FC.
