Centre for IT Education, Bhubaneswar (CITE), Bhubaneswar was established in the year 2000. The Institution provides professional Postgraduate degree courses in the area's of Business Management and Information Technology which inculcated to become one of the state governmental business school in eastern Orissa and around.
The institute is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) under AICTE and State Government of Orissa
About CITE
Centre for IT Education, was established on august 2000 as a self sustaining institution initially , it was funded with capital for land , building with promotion of infrastructure and fund's by Orissa State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. which ran under Information Technology department for government of Orissa enterprise.
In the year 2006 the institute was transferred to Industries Department as a decision taken by state cabinet of Orissa in the month of February for it's consent as a affiliated college under Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT).
