The 2011–12 season will be the 134th year in the history of English football club Wolverhampton Wanderers. The club will compete in the Premier League, the highest level of English football, for a third consecutive season.

The previous season saw them survive on the final day with a 17th place finish, ending one point above the relegation zone.

This season will see the capacity of Molineux reduced to 23,995 at the start of the season due to the ongoing rebuilding of the new Stan Cullis Stand (North Bank). The bottom tier of the new two-tiered structure is expected to be completed by mid-September to increase the capacity to around 27,000.

The away kit, retained from the previous season, is all black with gold piping. Both shirts feature the internet gambling company Sportingbet.com as sponsor.
