Harold Kollar
Harold J. Kollar (born circa 1923) was a minor league manager who spent six seasons managing in the New York Giants system. He also played in the minor leagues for ten seasons.
Kollar managed from 1949 to 1954, skippering the (1949), the (1950), the St. Cloud Rox (1951), the (1952), the (1953) and the (1954). Each year from 1949 to 1951, he led his team to the playoffs, though each trip to the playoffs ended in the first round.
Kollar played in the minor leagues in 1942 and from 1946 to 1954. A first baseman, he hit .297 with 102 home runs in 1,087 games. In 1952, with Kingsport, he hit a career high .353, while swatting 21 home runs. His career high in home runs was 27, which he accomplished in 1950 with Enid.
