Jean-Laurent Vilon, best known as JLV, (born December 30, 1975, France) is a French and American designer. His designs range from graphic and art design, user interface design, online and mobile UI design.

He was educated in France at ETPA Design school and Sorbonne University before attending Northwestern University in 1996 and Harvard Business School in 2006. After working at Euro ESCG in Europe in 1997, JLV joined in 1998 a famous US design firm SLS as User Interface Designer. in 1999 he became partner of Watch Design and established the web department as director of New Media strategy. In 2002, after receiving his green card from the US government for extraordinary ability in design, he founded his first design firm, which specialized in online branding strategies and social media, which he successfully sold to a large international European company in 2008. After living 12 years in the USA, today JLV is responsible for the Asia pacific strategy for an international design firm VELOOR.

JLV believes the future is moving toward mobile brands which provide people with something of value. Increasingly, this value will come in the form of new ideas, multimedia involvement and mobile experiences, instead of ads, and daily interruptions.

JLV is also a painter and his work has been exhibited in different occasions: - At the age of 14 years old. Personal art exhibition in Toulouse, France. Inaugurated by the French Minister of Culture. - Personal art exhibition in Galerie Marceau, Paris, France. - Private collection exhibition. CENAC FONDATION, France.

JLV is part of the following organizations: Board Member of Sarcoma Cancer Alliance based in California. Web site Committee Member of US Executive Club - Young leaders Committee Cenac Fondation: Board Member and President of Marketing Committee CNCCEF: Appointed by the French Prime Minister in 2005 as Deputy Trade Advisor for the Trade Department. Elected in 2009 board member of the Small Business Counsil attached to the French Minister of International Trade.
