Jefferson Avenue is a residential yet primary east-west avenue in the Dongan Hills, Grant City, Ocean Breeze, and Midland Beach neighborhoods of New York City, in the borough of Staten Island, New York.
Like many parallel streets in the area, it begins at Richmond Road, and then travels east for several quiet residential blocks before passing under the Staten Island Railway station of the same name at 0.20 miles (0.32 km). It continues onward for more quiet blocks until reaching Hylan Boulevard at 0.50 miles (0.80 km). It then reaches at 0.90 miles (1.45 km). Jefferson Avenue is interrupted by parkland before resuming slightly west of Patterson Avenue where it continues to Father Capodanno Boulevard for about 0.10 miles (0.16 km).
